Wallifornia Hackathon Updates, Schedule, etc.

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Wallifornia Hackathon! Excited you're here! Here's some important info. Also, we will add most everything you need to know on the Devpost Resources page, too, so always check there first.

1. Be sure and review the Requirements Section on the main Devpost page.

2. EVS (live video technology for broadcast and new media productions, including sports, entertainment & news) has issued 2 Esports Challenges. They are offering a €2500 prize for the winner of one of these challenges (see Resources page for info).

3. We have created a Tools Discord channel so you can ask questions about our tools like Devpost and Poolpio. The Poolpio VR platform can be used to meet other hackers, team formation, mentor meetings, set up a Team Room to work on your projects in virtual reality, and more. We will send more info via email asap. I will add the Tools link on the Resources page. The general Hackathon-Questions Discord link is on the main Devpost page so be sure and join that. You can also email Support@devpost.com and review the Devpost help section here.

4. The Hackathon schedule will be added to the Resources page today.

5. Be on the lookout for an email from Luann@WaliforniaMusicTech.com. We are creating a document to keep track of who has a team already, and who is looking for teammates.

6. All members of your team need to register on Devpost/sign up for a Devpost account. If you are the Team leader, please make sure all your teammates sign up. We will need this info when we award the prizes, so it's very important.
